Lauren Potter was born on May 10, 1990 in Riverside, California. Lauren is a actress and producer known for Glee, Guest Room, and Mr. Blue Sky. 

Lauren serves as an advocate for people with disabilities through organizations including AbilityPath, Best Buddies International, The Down Syndrome Association, The American Association of People with Disabilities, and Special Olympics.

In November 2011, President Barack Obama appointed Lauren to the President's Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities, where she will advise the White House on issues. The Committee discusses a variety of different issues affect people with disabilities including education and workplace integration.
